Ticketmart is a brand new Ticket Marketplace servicing Australia for all events. Users can buy and sell their tickets and Promoters can sign up and create their own events to sell tickets. Users can earn commissions by creating and joining teams and helping to sell tickets to events to friends and family.  

We provide choice, convenience and consumer protection, so that people can buy and sell tickets for live events all over Australia with confidence.

Q.What is Ticketmart Guarantee?

Ticketmart provides choice, convenience and consumer protection, so that people can buy and sell tickets for live events all over the world with confidence.

We do this by:

  • Providing a secure purchasing environment
  • Monitoring all orders to ensure that sellers deliver
  • Making sure that sellers are only paid once the buyer has attended the event
  • Offering a refund service if applicable with the terms of the sale


Buyers are guaranteed to receive valid tickets in time for the event. 
Sellers are guaranteed to get paid for the tickets they sell and fulfill on time.
Social Sellers: are guaranteed to get paid their commissions within a 7 day period once the event has been successfully completed.

Q.How do I change the name or details on my tickets?

The names on tickets can be set by going to Dashboard and clicking the Purchase link. You can then see all your tickets purchased and set the names by clicking the first icon. Once names are set they can only be changed one more time.
IMPORTANT: Do not set a name if you plan to resell your ticket. 

Q.How can I purchase tickets?

You can purchase tickets by using the search table at the top of the page or by clicking on a category. After that follow the prompts to purchase your tickets. You can purchase Promoter or Venue Tickets or Resale Tickets. 

Q.Why are there different prices for the same event?

Depending on the event, there may be various allocations at different price points. Often there are limited number of tickets released at a cheaper price, followed by second and third releases with increasing price points. Details for any special ticket types will be outlined in the event description. The ticket prices will include booking fees from the site, venue and promoter fees and stripe transaction costs in the total.

Ticketmart also incorporates some new features allowing sales through public and private auctions as well as discount specials from Street Teams, Bid - Buying and special ticket offers. 

Q.How can I pay for my ticket?

Our payment system will accept Mastercard, Visa, Paypal, Stripe Payments. The use of disposable, or reloadable credit cards are also accepted, however refunds are processed directly back to payment method so please hold onto them in case of refund.

Q.Do you send out physical tickets in the mail?

Our system is fully electronic and automated, eliminating the need to send tickets via regular post. Once payment has been made, an e-ticket is sent immediately to your registered e-mail address which you may print out and bring with you to the show. You can also access your ticket via the app and can download it from the Google Play Store. (IOS Version is coming soon)

Q.I dont have a printer, can I show my ticket using my smart phone?

Yes! If you have a copy of your e-ticket on your phone or you have downoaded our APP, our event staff can scan your ticket directly from the screen. To ensure efficient processing at the event, please make sure you zoom in to show the full 3D barcode on your screen from your ticket.

Q.I did not receive my e-ticket?

As soon as your booking is complete, go to your Dashboard and purchases Page. You can download your ticket by clicking the download icon. Whilst the system is generating your ticket please do not interupt the process and let it download to your device. You can re-download the ticket at any time from purchases. Please do not set your name on the ticket if you want to resell it on the site. There is no need to set ticket names unless you want your friends/family to receive their ticket direct via email. 

You can also access your ticket direct from the APP in Google Play Store and do not need to show your E-ticket if you have installed the APP, just access MY TICKETS section to find your ticket and show your QR CODE at the Door for scanning. Q.Street Teams

Registered users have the ability to create a street team and invite their friends to it. Street teams a promotional teams that assist venues and promoters to help sell tickets. Its important when registering to identify the categories you want your team to be associated with as promoters will look for your teams based on their event category as the best choice to help sell tickets. 

Street teams earn commissions and receieve discounts when selling tickets on behalf of venues and promoters. They are assigned to tickets for events and they use their code in their street team dashboard (after creating team) to market the event to their own mailing lists and social media sites like facebook, instagram and twitter or whatsapp and other platforms. Every time a user uses your link or code to buy a ticket you receive a commission on the sale. Commissions are paid out 48 hours after an event completes as long as that event is not cancelled or disputed.

Street teams can download the app and leaders can control their street team from either web or app. There are discussions boards in each event assigned as well as leader boards to show who is selling the most tickets.

Promoters and Venues:

You can assign street teams from their profiles or directly from your dashboard in manage events. You can assign them when creating the tickets or after when the tickets are published. 

Q.Getting Paid from a Resale Ticket

Users selling Resale Tickets through the site get paid after the event has been completed within 48 hours unless a dispute has been lodged. 
Disputes can be made by buyers who did not receieve what was promised with the resale ticket. Generally internal resale tickets those made for ticketmart listed events for sale have a lower dispute resolution due to internal processes protecting the buyer and seller. 

Users list their ticket for sale by either purchasing a ticket and reselling through purchases and resale listing, they can choose to boost their resale ticket to be more visible or leave it on the list. Resale is activated by the promoter or venue and is only for authorised tickets. 

Tickets bought from other ticketing agencies can also be resold on ticketmart but only if the event is listed on ticketmart website. You can resell an eticket only online however you can resell using a hard copy ticket with the ticketmart app which is available from playstore. IOS version is coming soon.

IF events are cancelled at any point the system will refund direct to your point of purchase minus transaction and handling fees. 

Resale Sales get paid 48 hours after an event to allow for dispute resolution, and security practices. The money goes directly into your e-wallet where it can be withdrawn by paypal to your paypal account or you can choose a manual bank transfer in which it takes  up to 5 business days to settle and be paid into your account. 

Q.Auctions

There are 2 types of auctions available on ticketmart. Private and Public Auctions.

Private Auctions are available to sellers to utilise. Private auctions are auctions that have a set minimum fee and all bids are made privately and sent to the seller. The seller will then approve or counter or reject your offer for the ticket.

Public Auctions are available to sellers to utilise. Public auctions are similar to an ebay auction and are auctions that have a minimum fee that when bidded on increases in value until a timer runs out. The highest bidder at the end of the auction will win. Or alternatively an auction may be cut short and a winner picked by the auction seller.

Auction tickets are the same as normal tickets however you place a bid and wait to see if you have won. If you win you will receive a notifcation tell you that you have won as well as a link to purchsae the ticket. 

If you receive a counter offer it is up to you if you want to accept or reject or counter the new offer.

All bids are final and binding, so if you win an auction you are expected to buy the ticket for the price set. 

Q.Bid Buying - Cheaper Tickets

From time to time a promoter or venue will activate a bid buy ticket. This enables you the customer/buyer to bid on tickets lower then normal prices, and choose the price you want to pay. However in order to win the bid which is instant you must correctly bid within the price range set. Winning bidders will instantly be able to buy and download the ticket with no delay. If you do not win you can keep bidding until you win. There are always a limited number of tickets assigned to bidding so get in quick when its available. Wining bidders can only bid once but may choose multiple tickets to buy with the correct bid.

Q.Ticketmart fully self Service Platform

Ticketmart is a fully self service platform allowing venues and promoters to create tours and events and sell tickets online. The pricing is very cheap and is charged directly to the buyer. The cheapest rates in the industry can be found in the agreement on signup. 

Promoters and venues can signup and have a dashboard to fully control and coordinate their events. They have their own social page which they can theme and create and use as their website. contact [email protected] to find out how to use your social page with your registered domain.

Q.Ticketmart SMS Verification

Ticketmart employs an extra layer of security to protect buyers and sellers. When signing up users will need to verify their mobile numbers in order to complete certain functions. This verification allows the site some ability to verify your identity and helps protect buyers and sellers. 
note: Please read terms and conditions in regards to security.

Q.How do I get my refund?

Refunds are processed automatically when events are cancelled. Please check terms and conditions for buying tickets. All tickets sold are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or a promoter/venue authorises a refund. Refunds are processed directly back to your purchase faciity (the card you made the purchase on) automatically and you do not need to contact Ticketmart for a refund unless you haven't been refunded yet by 14 days after an event cancellation.

Refunds for resale tickets are also refunded automatically to your credit/debit card.

Refunds according to terms and conditions is the ticket face value price minus transaction fees charged by merchant facility and refund/booking fees. 

Q.Where is my Registration Email? How do I use Guest Checkout?

After registering an account with ticketmart you must confirm your email account because most correspondence goes to your email account. Please open your email and click the link provided to confirm your email address, after that you can login with your email and password. If you cannot find your registration email please check your junk mail folder as sometimes your email client will send the email to junk mail. If you still cannot find your registration email then please contact [email protected].

You can also check out as a guest user when buying a ticket if you are in a rush. Please don't do this if you have an account already because it will create a new account for you and assign the ticket to that account. When you guest checkout you will receive an email with your login details including your assigned password in your email. To login again you need to activate your account and then login and you can then change your password. Please also don't forget to update your contact details and personal profile. 

Q.Ticket Scanning - Venues & Promoters

Ticketmart currently has an android app out for scanning and sales reporting as well as some other features for street teams and selling tickets.

The apps can be used to scan tickets, add guestlist and many more features for promoters, its also customisable colours and labels for your brand.

Q.Ticketmart offers advanced Advertising & Marketing for Promoters & Venues

Resellers: Can boost their tickets as well as feature and bold them on the resale list.

Promoters/Venues:

  • Promoters and venues who utilise ticketmart gain access to credit after selling events automaticaly credit to them based on sales data, and can also pay for credit on the site. This credit can be used for a vareity of functions for advertising on the site.
  • Promoters and Venues can feature events on the home page and in main categories and also pay/use credit for sms mailouts and newsletter mailouts from their own database.
  • Promoters and venues can also purchase sms mailouts and newsletter mailouts direct from ticketmarts database.
  • Promoters and venues have access to ecredit which can be used for advertising within ticketmart as well as SMS and Newsletters. 
  • Promoters and venues have access to their own user database from all ticket buyers on the site and from page followers. They can download this data or market direct to them using the sites key easy to use functions.

Ticketmart also free of charge adds your events to our social sites including facebook, instagram and twitter. We also submit your events to other event based sites around Australia. 

Q.Resale - Selling your Ticket

Reselling a ticket bough through Ticketmart:

Firstly, all ticket sales are final and cannot be refunded unless the event is cancelled and at the promoters descetion. Please visit terms and conditions of sale.
Resale for tickets operates only so you can resell your ticket if you can no longer attend the show. It is not so you can make money if a limited ticket. When reselling your ticket the Promoter gets a portion back of your ticket and the site offers a service and handling fee for helping to resell your ticket. Only Authroised tickets sold through the platform can be sold in this way. Complimentary tickets cannot be sold through the platform and will be rejected at ticketmart venues. 

If you want to resell your ticket and have bought the ticket from ticketmart, you can do so in Purchases by clicking Resale. You set a price for your ticket that you want and then it will list automatically. You can manage your resale listing from the resale listing link on your dashboard. Here you can advertise to make your ticket more prominent on the page so users will see it. You can also cancel your resale ticket and it will go back to purchases where you can download it again. Please note that when you sell your ticket to another buyer your original ticket is automatically destroyed so if you downloaded it you will not be able to use it to get entry if another buyer has bought it. 

Resale tickets once sold to a new buyer are put in the new buyers purchase section on dashboard. If you are the seller you will need to wait till after the event for your monies to clear into your E-wallet. So please note:

  • You are not Guaranteed a buyer when listing your ticket, 
  • Once your ticket is sold the sale is final and the new buyer is issued the ticket
  • You may cancel your resale ticket at any time before a purchase
  • Certain fees apply when selling your ticket, promoter fee, service and handling fees and also a site transaction fee. You can see the full ticket price once you list it.
  • You can adjust your pricing once your ticket is listed from resale listing section in dashboard. 
  • For security reasons and to protect the buyer, All monies are settled 24-48 hours after the event date into your ewallet. You can use paypal to withdraw the funds or bank transfer, please make sure you fill out bank detail in your dashboard otherwise we cannot transfer to your bank account. You must manually withdraw the funds from e-wallet we do not do this on your behalf. 
  • If an event is cancelled you do not need to do anything, as refunds are processed automatically to both the buyer and you the seller to your point of purchase ie the card you used to purchase the original ticket. 

 

Q.Resale - Selling your ticket from another Ticket Agency - info for buyers and sellers

Reselling - Selling your ticket from another Ticket Agency

Selling your ticket from another ticket agency allows you to list your ticket on ticketmart and resell it to another person. Tickets can only be resold for authorised events and only for ticketmart authorised venues. 

Resale for tickets operates only so you can resell your ticket if you can no longer attend the show. It is not so you can make money. When reselling your ticket the Promoter gets a portion back of your ticket and the site offers a service and handling fee for helping to resell your ticket. Only Authorised tickets sold through the external agency platform can be sold in this way. Complimentary tickets cannot be sold through the platform and will be rejected at ticketmart venues if the name does not match. 

If you want to resell your ticket and have bought the ticket from another ticket agency, you can do so by registering to the site and selecting the SELL BUTTON top right of home page. You can go through the process and select the event on ticketmart that is the same event you have bought a ticket for from the external agency. Go through the steps and upload your e-ticket. Please note that only e-tickets can be resold from the platform, however if you download the app from the playstore if you have a android phone you can use the app to upload a hard copy ticket for resale. If using hard copy ticket you must send the original ticket to the buyer. 

You set a price for your ticket that you want and then it will list automatically once you have completed the steps. You can manage your resale listing from the resale listing link on your dashboard. Here you can advertise to make your ticket more prominent on the page so users will see it. You can also cancel your resale ticket and it will be deleted from the system. Please note that when you successfuly sell your ticket to another buyer you cannot use your original ticket for entry to the event. If you try to do so you will be blacklisted from both the venue and the ticketing platforms. Ticketmart has many new security systems in place to protect buyers from sellers so please list responsibily.  

Resale tickets once sold to a new buyer are put in the new buyers purchase section on dashboard. If you are the seller you will need to wait till after the event for your monies to clear into your E-wallet. So please note:

  • You are not Guaranteed a buyer when listing your ticket, 
  • Once your ticket is sold the sale is final and the new buyer is issued the orgiainal ticket uploaded plus a new ticket for scanning. If hard copy ticket sold through the APP you must send the hard copy ticket to the new buyer immediately. 
  • You may cancel your resale ticket at any time before a purchase, if you cancel the ticket will be completely deleted from the system.
  • Certain fees apply when selling your ticket, promoter fee, service and handling fees and also a site transaction fee. You can see the full ticket price once you list it.
  • If you are listing an external ticket then you have a limited how much you can sell your ticket above the orginal purchase price. 
  • You can adjust your pricing once your ticket is listed from resale listing section in dashboard. 
  • For security reasons and to protect the buyer, All monies are settled 24-48 hours after the event date into your ewallet. You can use paypal to withdraw the funds or bank transfer, please make sure you fill out bank detail in your dashboard otherwise we cannot transfer to your bank account. You must manually withdraw the funds from e-wallet we do not do this on your behalf.
